The Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Tanzania Country Grant has now closed.
Mott MacDonald, the Fleming Fund management agent for country grants, invited proposals from qualified licensed/registered entities in Tanzania to work toward strengthening antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and antimicrobial usage (AMU) surveillance in Tanzania. Work will include collaboration with the National Multi-sectoral Coordinating Committee (MCC) for AMR, otherwise known as the AMR committee.
Objectives of the grant
The objectives of the grant have been developed and agreed in partnership with the Tanzanian Government. The objectives are to:
- strengthen One Health AMR and AMU surveillance
- strengthen AMR and AMU surveillance system in humans
- strengthen AMR and AMU surveillance system in food producing animals
