The Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Laos Country Grant has now closed.
Mott MacDonald, the Fleming Fund manage agent for country grants, invited proposals from qualified licensed/registered entities in Laos to work toward strengthening antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and antimicrobial usage (AMU) surveillance in Laos. Work will be done in collaboration with the Government of Lao PDR's Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance and Control Committee (ASCC), otherwise known as the AMR committee.
Objectives of the grant
The objectives of the grant have been developed and agreed in partnership with the Government of Lao PDR. The objectives are to:
- strengthen the One Health approaches to information sharing
- strengthen the AMR and AMU surveillance system in the human health sector
- strengthen the AMR and AMU surveillance system in the animal health sector
