Proposals Under Review
Indonesia published its National Action Plan on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in 2017.
Indonesia is one of the countries field-testing the WHO tricycle protocol for surveillance of antibiotic resistant E. coli in human health, animal health and the environment.
The Fleming fund has also provided support to Indonesia through its Global Grant to WHO for training in AMR surveillance software and for work on AMR in the pharmacy sector.
The Fleming Fund has worked with the Government of Indonesia to develop a Request For Proposals (RFP) for a grant that can support the implementation of key priorities from the countries National Action Plan.
The aim is to support Indonesia’s action to strengthen the One Health surveillance systems across human health, poultry and aquaculture sectors.
The Request for Proposals for the Indonesia Country Grant is now closed and applications are being reviewed.
